Have a Complaint about a possible Acting or Modeling scam
Tell somebody that can do something about it!

Where to Complain

If you've been scammed by a bogus model or talent scout or an unlicensed agency it may have been against the law and you should file a complaint with your local consumer protection agency, in Arizona, file a complaint online at the state Attorney General web site or call (602) 542-5763, then also file a complaint at Better Business Bureau web site or call (602) 264-1721. Then, if you're not satisfied... plead your case to the TV stations, Channel 12 Call to Action (602) 260-1212, 3 News On Your Side (602) 207-3470, The 5 i-Team, CBS 5 News (602) 650-5550. File a report on the Bad Business Bureau rip-off report online. You can also check to see if anyone else has filed reports.

For Talent and Modeling Agencies that are licensed in the State of Arizona contact Orlando Macias at labor department of the Industrial Commission, (602) 542-4515.

If you were ripped-off I also recommend going to the source that got you to that company in the first place and complain to them. The local newspaper, radio station, or magazines should hear from you so they know to think twice about associating themselves with companies who are cheating our community.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) works for the consumer to prevent fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide information to help consumers spot, stop and avoid them. To file a complaint or to get free information on consumer issues, visit www.ftc.gov or call toll-free, 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); TTY: 1-866-653-4261. The FTC enters Internet, telemarketing, identity theft and other fraud-related complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure, online database available to hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad.

Our goal is to empower you with information!
