Misti Wagner, owner of First Steps First Hand, has worked as a talent coordinator and assistant to Dani Green, owner of Dani's Agency, (also Misti's mother) since 1997 and before that she was talent (previous headshot, composite, print ad 1, print ad 2. After talking with legitimate (SAG/AFTRA) talent agents about all the phone calls they were getting asking how to get started and not being able to really educate someone in a 5 minute conversation, Misti decided to fill a need by forming a company to host seminars with professional speakers for beginning actors and models with the first seminar held in January of 2003. "It breaks my heart to see naive talent get ripped off," says Dani Green of Dani's Agency. Dani was the speaker for the first seminar at The Phoenix Public Library. She has owned her own talent agency since 1987. She says, "I'm looking forward to the step up in the quality of future submissions to all the legitimate agencies from those attending this seminar as well as the time that all the agencies will save not having to answer all the questions related to the entertainment industry over the phone."
